Jill has enjoyed studying and creating art since the 1970s, with her current passion specialising in Seascapes and Melbourne Streetscapes.
She has studied under multiple highly regarded artists including: Chris Canning learning drawing and sketching still-life in the studio and on location in the Dandenong Ranges;
John Spink studying oil painting for 5-years with a focus on landscapes and seascapes; Summer workshops with Alan Martin; Kevin Boucher which involved the use of acrylics and oils, further development of landscape/seascape painting and techniques for studio and location; and Michael Goff, both in the studio as well on location including Thornton, Monsalvat and Mordialloc Creek.
Jill has sold numerous painting on commission, as well as overseas. Her work has been sold at various shows including the Camberwell Rotary Art Show, Mt Waverley Art Show, Rotary Club of Mornington Art Show, Seafarers Art Show, and the Herald Sun Outdoor Art Show (since the 1980s).
